Welcome to

Grendon Church of England Primary School

Grendon CE Primary School is consistently amongst the highest performing school's in Northamptonshire with a strong reputation for innovative curriculum design. The school's unique approach to learning has received wide acclaim, including being named Primary School of the Year at the 2019 National TES School Awards, for rapidly improving standards, engaging children in learning and promoting global citizenship.

Grendon CE Primary School runs its own Nursery, incorporated into our main Early Years class.

The Nursery is now a well established part of the school and provides an excellent transition into school life. The provision is led by an outstanding EYFS practitioner who works alongside two experienced Teaching Assistants, one of which is a Nursery Specialist.

For children to be eligible for our Nursery cohort, their chronological age must place them in the year before they start school. This means that children would spend a maximum of 1 academic year in Nursery before moving onto the Reception cohort.

Although the Nursery is a part of our school, a place in this cohort does not guarantee entry into our Reception cohort. For primary school (Reception) applications, the locally set admissions criteria apply and these can be found elsewhere in the School Information section on this website.

For more information about availability, prices and organisation of our Nursery please contact the school office.
