  Hello Visitor,

Welcome Back!

It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces in school last week. Overall, the first week back has gone very smoothly, with children eager to see their friends, teachers and classrooms. They have all been working hard to re-adjust to the familiar routines of school and they have behaved brilliantly. Thank you for your support in preparing your child for school opening and for observing the control measures that are in place to keep us all safe and well.

You can view a short video taken last week which shows the children in each of their classes getting back into the swing of things!

Welcome back cedar

Outdoor Learning Equipment - Can You Help?

The school is on the hunt for more resources to support outdoor learning - ground sheets, tarpaulins, plastic pallets, ropes, canes - all of which need to be weatherproof as they will be stored outside. If you think you might be able to provide any suitable items, please bring them to school!

Catch-Up Premium Recovery Plan

You may be aware that the DfE announced that schools would be allocated a Catch-Up Premium. This one-off grant, available only for the 2020-21 academic year is designed to mitigate the effects of the unique disruption caused by coronavirus (COVID-19).

Primary schools are awarded £80 per pupil which, for us, totals £8400.

You can read more about how our school has chosen to allocate our funding by viewing our Catch-Up Premium Recovery Plan here
