School Closure: Update #4 Wednesday 25th March 2020

  Hello Visitor,

Key Worker School Requirements

In line with government advice, it is imperative that you stay at home where possible. A parent who is not a key worker and key workers who have the capacity to work from home should keep their child(ren) at home.

In the meantime, school remains fully committed to supporting key workers

If your child is attending school next week, please complete the Key Worker School Requirement form which can be downloaded here. Please note the slight amendments to the form which require key worker employer details of both parents (on the basis that non-key workers are expected to be at home).

In order to minimise risk of transmission of Coronavirus between staff and children, the school is timetabling only the essential staff required to maintain safe ratios and so it is important that we gather your requirements on a weekly basis. Please complete and return the form for next week's bookings via email by 5pm on Thursday 25th March.

Could I also please ask that if you have booked a session at school that you inform us if you no longer need to use the provision. There are low numbers of children accessing the provision and I am mindful that I only want to ask staff to travel into school if it is necessary to do so.

Up to date government guidance on Coronavirus can be found here.

School Meals

During this unprecedented period of school closures and major disruption, the school has heard from many of our families and the huge pressures that they, and others, are facing. Of immediate concern to us are the families who normally rely on the school's lunch provision to feed their children. Regardless of whether your child qualifies for Free School Meals, the school would like to hear from our families who are struggling to provide food for their children.

The school can and will help you. If you need our support with providing lunches, or you know of another family who would benefit, I would urge you to get in touch with school by emailing me at  where your request will be treated quickly and with discretion.

There is absolutely no way that the school would want anybody to worry about feeding their children or feel that they couldn't ask for help and so please contact us.
