  Hello Visitor,

The Drop Off Wraparound Care: Important Information

The school received notification from The Drop Off yesterday that they will not be able to continue providing wraparound care in our setting beyond the end of this week. The school had no prior knowledge that this decision would be made and I am aware that the timing of the decision and the very short notice period is very unfortunate.

I would like to thank The Drop Off for working in our school over recent months and for trying very hard to make the wraparound care sustainable. Unfortunately, the provision did not prove to be financially viable.

As it stands, there will be no wraparound care provision in place at Grendon at the start of next term and so please make alternative childcare arrangements.

In the meantime, the school will explore other wraparound care providers. If you have details of any organisations who might be interested in running wraparound care in our school or details of any childcare providers who school can signpost parents to, please do no hesitate to pass this information on to school.

Panto Time!

Last week, Reception and Key Stage 1 enjoyed a fantastic performance of Cinderella. Meanwhile, Key Stage 2 saw Peter Pan at Milton Keynes. The shows were made all the better because we were lucky enough to see Cory in role as Michael and ex-pupil Isla-Belle perform in Cinderella! Two brilliant trips and lots of very happy children, all of them great ambassadors for our school.

Carol Service

Please come and join us on Thursday 19th December at 1.30pm in St Mary's Church for our whole school Carol Service. This is a going to be a really enjoyable service with a mixture of traditional carols and modern favourites...possibly even some audience participation so bring your singing voices.
