  Hello Visitor,

Remembrance Day

Many thanks for your generours donations for our Poppy Appeal. In school, we marked the 2 minute silence and Cedar Class visited the Grendon War Memorial and also the soldier silhouette as part of their current learning about World War 1. Children spotted two heroes who were connected to pupils in their class and took the time to remember all of those lost in the war.

The Drop Off 

Drop offA reminder that The Drop Off are holding a 'Stay and Play' session tomorrow from 3.30-4.30pm in the school hall for children to attend along with their parents. There will be games, refreshments and a bouncy castle.

No need to book, just head to the hall at 3.30pm to talk to their staff and find out more about their wraparound care provision in our school.  

Children in Need Mufti

The school is raising money for Children in Need tomorrow, collecting voluntary donations in exchange for wearing mufti. If your child has PE tomorrow, please ensure your child wears clothes that are suitable for physical activity.

Christmas Theme Day

 
Children can come to school in their Christmas jumpers/Mufti and will work in House Groups throughout the day, enjoying a range of Christmas arts and crafts with plenty of singing!
 
Thursday 5th December (4pm)  Reception's Nativity
   
All of our Reception families are very welcome to come and watch the Nativity. This will take place outside in the school grounds so please wrap up warm! Year 6 Buddies are invited to join the singing. 
   
Wednesday 11th December  Reception and KS1 theatre trip
   
Thursday 12th December  KS2 theatre trip
   
Thursday 19th December (1.30pm) Whole School Carol Service in church
   
Everyone is invited to attend our Carol Service at St Mary's Church, Grendon, on the last day of term. The service begins at 1.30pm and will last around an hour. Children can be collected early from school after the service.
