FOGS Summer Fair & Family Picnic

Once again, FOGS will be hosting their very popular Summer Fair on the last day of term up on the playing field. Last year, this event ran seamlessly alongside the family picnic and it was a great day! Any children participating in FOGS Summer Fair must be collected from school by a parent or named adult and so, if you are unable to attend the family picnic but would like your child to attend FOGS Summer Fair, please make arrangements for this. Payment for the Summer Fair can be made on ParentPay.

A reminder that the Family Picnic takes place on school site from 11.30am. Families should feel free to come onto the school grounds from this time to set up on the grass bank. The day is very informal and you can stay as long as you like! 

An Indian Banquet - Friday 19th July

As a special end of year treat, the Vaid family has very generously offered to provide an Indian banquet for all of the children this coming Friday in school.

Although the menu is still to be finalised, it will include a range of delicious, home-cooked Indian cuisine such as:

• Vegetable samosas
• Vegetable pakoras
• Poppadoms and
• Yoghurt and cucumber raita,
• Chole and aloo curry (chickpea and potato)
• Paneer and pea curry
• Rice
• Naan bread or rotis.
• Ice cream of ice lollies

The menu will be fully vegetarian with all allergies, intolerances and diets catered for. Wherever possible, gluten free, vegan and lactose/dairy free alternatives will be provided and all food will be clearly labelled. There will be plenty of food for all of the children to enjoy.

The food will be served late morning and there will be enough to provide your child with a substantial hot meal. It is, of course, entirely up to you whether you choose to send your child with a separate packed lunch/book a hot meal.
