Hello Visitor,'Those History People' Ancient GreeceCedar Class enjoyed a brilliant Ancient Greek day to support their current Global Curriculum theme. In the words of 'Those History People', children: '...stepped back in time to Ancient Athens and explored how the Greeks resisted the Persian invasion. They thought about what they wanted to preserve through a combination of practical making activities, drama and role-play. Children also recreated the festival of Dionysus - performing plays, dances and poetry of the Athenian festival. The children were totally immersed in the day, applying their considerable knowledge of Ancient Greece and learning many new things along the way.
