	Hello Visitor, Open Afternoon February half-term marks the mid-point of the school year and it is also the time where one Global Curriculum theme ends and another begins. Staff and pupils are looking forward to welcoming you into school tomorrow afternoon for our Open Afternoon to share the work that the children have accomplished so far this academic year. Important Information Open Afternoon begins on Wednesday 14th February at 1.30pm There is no need to let us know you are coming, just turn up! To ease the flow of visitors, please access school via your child's classroom door Pupils must stay in class to share their work with visitors from 1.30-2.30pm Children can be collected from 2.30pm onwards School will remain open until 3.30pm as normal Feel free to send your child with money to buy some Mexican treats Visitors - please take some time to visit all of the classrooms! Business Enterprise Year 5/6 are sharing their Global Curriculum learning in the form of Mexican themed business enterprises. Having succesfully pitched their ideas at our in-house Dragons' Den, I gave each group a 50 word limit to give their business one final push before the big day. Please bring plenty of change to purchase these Mexican treats! Come and visit Funky Fajitas and indulge in crunchy red onions, juicy, tender chicken pieces and delicately spiced peppers with smoked paprika, coriander and cumin. All for £2! These mouth-watering fajitas will be sold on 14^th February in Willow Classroom from 1.30pm Don’t miss out! Indulge yourself in delicious brownies, priced at £2 for everyone to enjoy! For sale on Wednesday 14^th February in Willow Class, these brownies will be tasty, gooey and will melt in your mouth. We know you’ll love them. Show some love for Sea Turtle Conservancy this Valentines! You are invited to try a burrito that will reveal the secrets of Mexican cuisine in one bite! Buy our delicious burritos for a price of only £1 (extra sauces for 25pm each). We are also offering a vegetarian option. Find us in Willow Class on 14^th February from 1.30pm. Cinco Senoritas! Do you want to try one of our delicious and mouth-watering beef tacos? Well, come on down to Willow Class on 14^th February to share some love for sea turtle conservation and buy our tacos for just £2. Don’t miss out! Our delicious treats – one bag of 8 yummy chocolate sea turtles, made with the finest chocolate. Indulge in this wondrous delight this Valentines Day for your loved ones. These little bags of scrumptiousness will cost only £1.20. Don’t miss out. Come to Willow Class and visit The Four Amigos at 1.30pm on Wednesday 14th February to have your tastebuds blown away! Residentials Year 6 It looks like we have a full house for Perranporth 2024! The itinerary for the trip is taking shape and, this week, I was very pleased to book tickets for the school to see The Adventures of Doctor Dolittle at the Minack Theatre. The school has seen the theatre company, Illyria, several times over the years - they are brilliant! Year 4 Letters will be sent home this week with details of the Year 4 residential which will take place this year from Monday 1st - Wednesday 3rd July 2024. It looks set to be another action packed trip and Miss Steed will be sharing more information with you closer to the time. Year 2 The school will bring you news of Year 2's summer, overnight trip in due course. Training Days A reminder that Friday 16th and Monday 26th February are teacher training days and so school will be closed.
