Hello Visitor,Christmas EventsNativityIn front of what must be our biggest audience to date, Reception performed a wonderful Nativity, ably supported in their singing by their Year 6 Buddies. The Reception cohort has only been in school for a matter of weeks and so it is great to see how confident they are and how much they enjoyed the Nativity. They practised very hard and we are all so proud of them. Christmas TripsEarly Years and Key Stage 1 enjoyed their theatre visit to see Stick Man on Thursday. The children were telling me all about their exciting trip during Achievers' Assembly on Friday. On Friday afternoon, Key Stage 2 went ice-skating at Willen lake - they all seemed to have a fantastic time and it was a pleasure to take all of our pupils on their special Christmas trips. Advent WreathSt Mary's Church very kindly made the school an amazing advent wreath which has been used in our Collective Worship throughout December. In today's Collective Worship, we will light the third candle which represents joy.
Carol Service - Tuesday 19th December at 2:00pmOur final event of the Autumn Term is our very popular Carol Service - you are all welcome to attend and we will look forward to seeing you there. Although school will close tomorrow at 3.30pm as normal, children can be collected early from their classroom as soon as we are back from the Carol Service. There is no PE tomorrow (and no gymnastics or football club) and so children should come to school in uniform. Pupil ProfilesPupil Profiles for all children will be sent home with your child tomorow. This document is essentially your child's termly school report and we would encourage you to spend some time over the Christmas break sharing this with your child to celebrate their many successes! I have read each and every report and I have been delighted with our pupils' achievements and the wonderful teacher comments. A covering letter will be sent with the Pupil Profile to explain more about our reporting system. House PointsAfter some very healthy competition in our House Point challenge, yellow and green house were victorious for this half term. The scores were extremely close and represent a great effort from all children to support their House! MeaslesSchools have been asked by North Northamptonshire Council to share this letter about measles - please click the link below.
