Wraparound Care

I am delighted to share details of our new wraparound care provider from January 2024.

'The Drop Off' start immediately after the Christmas break, meaning there is no break in our wraparound care offer. 

The provision will run from 3.30-6.00pm and there is a flat fee of £12 for the whole session.

The Drop Off will provide food and drink, the idea being that the long session will provide an opportunity for children to have a more substantial meal.

In order for wraparound care providers to be financially sustainable, particularly in small schools like ours, it is vital that parents embrace and use the provision. The Drop Off already provides wraparound care for Little Houghton Primary School and Sywell Primary School and I know that feedback from those parents and the schools is extremely positive. If your child has after-school childcare needs, I would urge you to register with The Drop Off and book sessions.

Christmas Theme Day

Thank you for your generous donations for FOGS Christmas Raffle. The children looked fantastic in their Christmas jumpers and they have had a wonderful day creating Christmas decorations in their house groups. It was lovely to see children of all ages working together so brilliantly and having so much fun. As I type this, the whole school are singing Christmas songs together in the hall.

Christmas Tree

The school was incredibly grateful for the donation of a fabulous, real Christmas Tree, courtesy of Nick at Easton Way Farm. The tree has been decorated with arts and crafts from Theme Day and it looks brilliant. 

Nick's trees (grown in Grendon!) are for sale this weekend at Chester House!
