Hello Visitor,Year 5 & 6 - BikeabilityThere is an opportunity for Year 5 and 6 pupils to participate in Bikeability in the week beginning 13th November. This course consists of 4 sessions in that same week, with sessions 2-4 taking place on local roads. Please take a few minutes to read the information and consent form here. If you would like your child to participate in the sessions, please provide consent by Tuesday 24th October at the latest. You can consent via email () by attaching a photo of your completed consent form or by emailing the relevant information (if you do not have access to a printer). Please include all of the information that is requested on the consent form. REMINDER School Tours - Reception Intake 2024If you know of anyone whose child turns 4 before August 31st 2024, please let them know about our upcoming school tours for our 2024 Reception intake. If you, or someone who know, would like to book a place on a tour, please email The school tour dates and times are: Thursday 9th November at 10.30am Wednesday 15th November at 1.30pm Friday 17th November at 10.30am Residentials For 2024I am delighted to announce that provisional residential bookings have been made for our 2024 Year 4 and Year 6 trips (Year 2 information to follow at a later date) Year 42 night residential to Rock UK: Frontier Centre, Irthlingborough from 1st - 3rd July 2024 Approximate cost: £220 https://rockuk.org/centres/frontier-centre/ Year 64 night residential to Perranporth YHA from 24th - 28th June 2024 Approximate cost: £360 All trip dates are to be confirmed and costs are approximate at this stage as we are awaiting updated pricing information from Rock UK and YHA Perranporth. I wanted to share approximate costs to give you plenty of time to budget for the trips. Reception Information MeetingMany thanks to all who attended Mrs Dyson's Reception information meeting on Wednesday. It was very well attended and wonderful to see so many of you there - we continue to be very grateful for your support and thoroughly enjoy working in partnership with you all for the benefit of your child's education. Wear It Pink! Friday 20th OctoberA reminder that tomorrow, the school is holding a mufti-day in aid of Breast Cancer Now. Children can wear mufti in exchange for a voluntary cash donation. The theme of the day is 'Wear It Pink' but any mufti is acceptable! There will be no PE for Pine or Willow tomorrow. FOGS AGM
