Hello Visitor,

Playground Equipment

The playground equipment will be ready to use from Monday. I am delighted with how the project has turned out and, from what the children have told me, they are also very impressed. Initially, there will be a rota for individual classes to access the equipment as we anticipate a very high demand!

Harvest Service - Wednesday 4th October at 2pm

harvest service 21Please join us in St.Mary's Church, Grendon on the 4th October for the school's Harvest Service.

There will be some fantastic singing and children from all classes will be sharing their wonderful harvest work.

The chosen charity of St. Mary's is The Daylight Centre and any donations of non-perishable food items will be much appreciated. Children can bring these to school on the day of the service.

All are welcome and we will look forward to seeing you there.

Brilliant Buddies!

I was walking through the Early Years outdoor area yesterday and was so happy to see older and younger pupils interacting so naturally together. I am sure that this kind and nurturing behaviour is helping our newest pupils to settle into the school setting very quickly and I know that the older pupils enjoy it just as much.

Reception and Year 6 Height & Weight Check Information

The School Nurses are visiting on September 20th (not 30th September as previously stated) to carry out height and weight checks on pupils in Reception and Year 6. The NHS assume your consent for the checks and so please do familiarise yourself with the 2 hyperlinked documents below so that you can make an informed choice and opt-out if you do not wish your child to participate.

If you are happy for your child to be measured, you do not need to do anything.

The school has no preference as to whether you choose to opt-out or not, it is merely facilitating an NHS programme. If you do not want your child’s height and weight to be checked, please contact the School Nurse team by Tuesday 19th September using the email address

if you have any questions, feel free to contact me  or the School Nurse Team via the contact details on the letter.
