Dear Visitor

‍Harvest Service

Reception stole the show at our harvest service! The 'Chuggy Chuggy Chug Chug/Big Blue Tractor' song was brilliant, as were the presentations by each class about life along the River Nile, The Journey Of Chocolate and the amazing Diwali work, all linked to harvest and giving. The Year 6 pupils and Mrs Rush presented a special harvest prayer and Miss Hunting led the children's fantastic singing. I hope you all enjoyed the service as much as we did.

Many thanks for your generous donations to both causes - food for the Daylight Centre and cash donations to our Social Enterprise in Senegal.

I am delighted to report that, with your help, school has raised enough money to fund the full 3 year course for a young adult to attend university in Senegal. A total of £212 was raised and this converts to over 150,000 West African CFA Francs. The donation was transferred electronically today.

Home Communication Policy - Reminder

Although children are allowed to arrive in class each morning from 8.45-8.55am, please be aware that staff begin work with pupils each morning at 8.45am and those children arriving at this time have morning tasks to complete. Please respect this important part of the day by not coming into the classroom. If you do need to pass on an important message to staff, please email your child's teacher or write a note in the Home School Book (which is checked daily by staff) as per the Home Communication Policy. You can read the full policy here.

Many thanks for your support with this.

Please see Grendon Parish Council's message about the playing field.

Breakfast Club Survey

Here are the results of the recent Breakfast Club Survey. I have shared this information with Premier Education. Unfortunately, the current level of demand is too low for a financially viable Breakfast Club to be offered. School will periodically repeat the survey to re-assess levels of demand.

T-Shirts!

‍If you have any old, plain, adult-size t-shirts that you are happy to part with, please send them into school as they make very good art 'overalls'. Thank you.
