‍Dear Visitor ‍

‍A New Start!

It has been a wonderful start to the school year and our new Global Curriculum themes. Here are a selection of photos from Cedar, Pine and Willow Class and their themes of India, Egypt and Mexico. Our new Reception cohort has settled extremely well and it is fantastic to welcome them into school. Photos of their experiences in EYFS to follow soon!

Reception Parents

Please follow the link below to access a letter from the school nurse team to parents of new Reception children with information on services that they offer.

Mrs Greenham

Mrs Greenham has asked me to pass on a huge thank you for all of the wonderful presents and generous donations she received on her retirement. Mrs Greenham was really overwhelmed and incredibly grateful (but I don't think she is missing the early starts).

‍

Swimming

A reminder that Year 3/4 and some of Year 5/6 (Year 5/6 pupils who are coming will already know they are coming!) start swimming lessons on Monday.

‍School Parking

I am very happy that the school attracts families from far beyond Grendon. With the majority of our pupils being non-Grendon residents, there will inevitably be a high volume of traffic in the village for a short period at the start and end of the school day. With pupils' safety as our number one priority, please be mindful of parking safely and considerately to help children arrive at and leave school safely.

On the advice of the Police, illegal parking should be reported via 111.Â
