‍E-Newsletter 226: Friday 4th July 2025

‍Dear Visitor ‍

‍School Photos

Popi Sterling is returning this week to take year group and Buddy photos. She will be in on Friday 11th July - the forecast is very sunny and so hopefully that will ensure some more brilliant photos like the one below.

Amazing Residentials

Since our last e-newsletter, our Year 4 and Year 6 cohorts have enjoyed their much anticipated residentials. Year 4 spent 2 nights at Rock UK, taking part in all sorts of acivities from kayaking and climbing to toasting marshmallows over a camp fire. Year 6 had a fantastic week in Cornwall, learning to surf, visiting The Eden Project and watching a brilliant show at the Minack Theatre. As we have come to expect, the children behaved beautifully and really engaged in everything that was on offer. There are so many examples of children encouraging and looking after each other, displaying wonderful manners and engaging so respectfully with us and members of the public. The excellent conduct of the children is a key factor in helping us to feel confident enough to take the children on adventurous trips.

‍Carnival Time!

Pine Class could not study Brazil without celebrating carnival season! The pupils have learnt all about the famous carnivals of Rio, made their own headdresses, designed special carnival t-shirts and even took part in a drumming workshop so that they could entertain the crowds as part of the Wellingborough Carnival procession. Many thanks to all of the parents, children and staff who brought the pupils learning to life.

‍Whole School Summer Show

All pupils from Year 1 to Year 6 are busy rehearsing for our summer show!

Many thanks for returning your ticket requests. I am delighted to report that the school has been able to accommodate all requests for additional tickets and these are now available to pay for on ParentPay. Tickets will be sent home when payment has been received. Any tickets that remain unpaid for after Monday 14th July will be released and sold on.

As the show will be sold out, you will need to bring your tickets to gain entry as we cannot risk going above our maximum number.
