Easter Service and FOGS Easter Fair
The school's Easter Service takes place at St Mary's Church this Wednesday at 1.30pm.
Following immediately after the service is FOGS Easter Fair in school.
School will remain open until 3.30pm as normal but parents are welcome to collect their child from their classroom at 2pm to go to the Easter Fair. Don't worry if you are unable to collect your child at 2pm as school staff will be available to take small groups of children around the Easter Fair stalls - please make sure that your child has some loose change to bring with them if they would like to take part.
Junior Strictly Stars
Our Junior Strictly dancers saved their best performances for the big day, dancing brilliantly at last weekend's competition at the Deco Theatre. The dancers practised so hard and were a credit to the school. They looked fantastic, put on a great show and, as you can see, they really enjoyed their time in the spotlight.
Sport Relief Challenge
On Thursday, the school playground was transformed into an obstacle course for the children's Sport Relief challenge. The children absolutely loved completing lap after lap of the tricky course which involved balance beams and climbing under cargo nets. It was great to see all the children being cheered on by their classmates, they really encouraged each other to finish the challenge and raise funds in the process.
The school day begins are 8.55am - please make every effort to ensure that your child arrives for school in plenty of time.
If you do arrive late for school, please report to the main office where staff will update the registers and let your child into school. Please do not try to access external classroom doors once the school day has started. Both school gates will be locked at 9am.
School Games Gold!
In recognition of its sport and PE provison, the school achieved the national School Games Gold Award for 2016-17. The framed proof of this achievement arrived in school on Friday.
Miss Jenkinson takes overall responsibility for PE in school and has worked very hard along with other school staff to ensure that school PE is in really good shape.
